Here is what I wore to a meeting which was actually re-scheduled:

 Cardigan: thrifted
Blouse: thrifted
Skirt: Wet Seal
Tights: Forever 21
Shoes: Torrid
Bag: thrifted

Here's a make-up look I tried out last night (which I call something like NIGHT IN '70s DAVID BOWIE LONDON):

Barely visible purple eyeshadow: L.A. Colors (CURSE YOU, CHEAP MAKE-UP)
Black eyeshadow: Hard Candy
Orange lipstick: unknown brand

And here is a look I wore about a week ago:

 Blue eyeshadow: L.A. Colors

 Earrings: Nana's from the '60s

Here is an outfit I wore a week or two ago:

 Shirt: Hottopic

And I close-up of LE MAKE-UP:

 Glasses: A.J. Morgan

Inspirational Photos of the Day

Sources, from top to bottom: Miss Tacoma beauty queen from Retro Space, S.E. Hinton from Google Images, lock of Marilyn Monroe's hair from Rookie, Winona Ryder in Edward Scissorhands from Rookie

OMG, IT WAS FRIDAY

Here is what I wore on Friday:
Hat: thrifted
Glasses: Buffalo Exchange
Over shirt thing: thrifted
Beatles shirt: Hottopic (yes, there was I time when I would stoop so low)
Skirt: Wet Seal
Tights: some kind of dance tights
Boots: thrifted

GURG I HATE TAKING MIRROR PICTURES LIKE THAT, but what can you do?
I was also wearing a fresh daisy (yesss), and my Nana's old earrings from the '60s. QUE THE PICTURE.
So, here is a blurry picture that is kind of ARTSY and stuff, but really shows nothing except some ARTSINESS and stuff.
I am so lame.

Living in the Mod Mod World

Here is an actually relevant outfit (from yesterday):

Hat: thrifted gift from mah sista
Sunglasses: A.J.Morgan, bought at Boo Radley's
Dress: Ande Monster on Etsy
Belt: Ross
Fishnets: from my dance costume when I was like, 10...
Shoes: Torrid

I followed the Mod Eye Makeup in Like Five Minutes tutorial by Hannah on Rookie (although I skipped the bottom lashes because I tried it and the one side I did sucked. Plus I had to leave my house). I TOTES RECOMMEND this tutorial, because it is easy and the results and freakin' awesome ^.^

This is one of my favorite outfits EVERRRRRRR. I felt so '60s and mod that I wanted to die and meet  Mary Quant OUTSIDE THE GATES OF HEAVEN (if you catch my drift, I love that song).

In other news, I took down this Harry Potter poster I had that was really lame (because I took it from some lame magazine, and it was all really lame).
I switched it with some stunning photos of Audrey from last year's calender:

They look so nice and they are a great switch.

Petey and Vickie and Me

Here is my Vickie (read the previous post, y'all) inspired outfit (using only things I had on hand), the day after I watched Reality Bites and was still freaking out over how I was laughing alone at night while watching that movie (something I only do when watching The Facts of Life).
Radddddddddddd. I am so happy my brotha took these at the car wash! ^.^

Close up of PETEYYYYYYY
I found the bowling shirt that you can't really see in the first two pictures at the ~*****Thrift Store****** ~. It is one of the best purchases ever. I call it "Petey", and it is my BABY.

 Glasses: Buffalo Exchange
"Petey" bowling shirt of awesomeness: thrifted
Belt: Ross
Dress: Ande Monster on Etsy
Bag: Wal-Mart (SHAME!)
Tights: Forever 21
Shoes: hand-me-down Converse

I am really proud of this picture. It has something behind the dandelions that looks like barfed up rainbow Trix.

If it is, rainbow Trix barf looks really cool.
